H. Lee & Assoc., Ltd. provides quality accounting, tax and related advisory services to individuals and closely held businesses. The office is located in the Chicago Board of Trade building in the heart of Chicago financial district.

Helen H. Lee, CPA, MST, founder of the firm, has over thirty years of experience which include local, regional and international "Big Four" accounting firms. After gaining several years of audit experience, she realized the importance of taxation and after-tax cash flows to business and individual clients. As a result, she changed her concentration to taxation while continuing to provide accounting services. She still recalls that when she told to a senior tax partner that she was to return to school for the degree in master of taxation and to change her specialty to taxation, he commented, "Your understanding of the accounting side and the additional knowledge of tax laws will allow you to serve clients more effectively".

Clients seek our services through referrals from our current or past clients, and other professionals sharing mutual clients. Clients often comment that they have been with us longer than their own spouses. Several of our clients are second or third generation of our client families. We listen to clients' objectives and concerns, and then assist them by creating flexible solutions to achieve their objectives while mitigating their concerns. We place clients' interest before any other considerations by striving to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
